Reflections in time 2

A look back, there are times in our life we need a dose of appreciation. I’m not referring to being appreciated, I am speaking about appreciating what we have, who we are and where we have come from. A look back at the path we have traveled and being reminded of the times we felt so hopeless and unable to cope, then being lifted above it all and given what we need to go on, these are memories that make our walking forward even more exciting.

A step forward, each moment in life present’s and opportunity for growth we can enjoy learning as we walk forward toward our interests , hopes and aspirations. There are times however that we can choose to take a step backwards, this is never a good idea as we can’t see what is there when we are walking and going by memory never works out because by the time we get where we are going, everything has changed. We can also choose to side step things in life, another bad move, because unfortunately we need to go through everything in our walk to become the person we need to be. So simply put we will go through what ever we side step at another time and in my experience it would have been easier to just go through it while on the path moving forward in the first place.

Being captivated by what we have found. In truth this is the glue that keeps us going on the path forward, we have found a person, a place and an experience so surpassing anything on earth we could no more turn back away from our destination than change the color of our skin. It is now a part of our spiritual DNA to continue on and to find wonder in the expression of Gods nature and loving kindness where ever we find it. The very nature of our being is now infused with the persons nature who is now the love of our being. Captivated by the very one I chose to follow and who chose to love me in spite of me.

This is a gift from God more precious that gold, a hiding place, one that you can’t wait to get back to.
