Trials.
At this particular time of this year, I am bombarded with feelings of separation from my children. though I am with my wife, I still find a loneliness a harassing figure in my mind and soul. Dealing with new ailments, that will change your life added to all that leads to a minor state of depression. This is the avenue for me at the moment.
Having said all that, I must say this. Life is not measured by the level of my circumstances , but by the confidence that no matter what comes your way there is a God who has given an internal stability to know it will be fine. It is just one more thing to overcome. This to shall pass.
It is a time of change for us, as individuals as well as a country. A wise man once told me that if we ever stop growing , we will cease to be an energy for life in our time. I believe most of us fight change with all our might, only to come to the place of choosing change, or slipping into a sad semblance of yesteryear.
In the new time learn to embrace, explore and relish every moment, for this is your life.
