Peace on earth
Peace. There are several kinds of peace, external which is temporal at best, and internal peace which can pass all understanding. It is a peace that comes from a source outside our self, and it can’t be disturbed by external circumstances . This is the peace I wish I could give to others, but alas I am just a man and that is a gift of God. If you want that kind of peace you have to get it from God.
What I can say is that it exists here and now, it’s not a fiction someone dreamed up it is a peace that endures even when you don’t. It’s not based on striving of achievements but on trust, faith that God will give what is promised, because it is God that promised not man. You can’t earn it , you can’t buy it, you can’t steal it, you don’t even know what it is until you have it. Then its a gift so you can’t brag about accomplishing some great feat of spiritual grandeur in order to have it. It is a promised free gift of God, because God loves us and knows we need a piece that goes way beyond our comprehension .
God is a giver, He gave all for mankind and still gives every moment of every day. If we will, he will.
